15 TREE Startups Participated in Meet Greater South 2023

In recent years, the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT), MOEA has been dedicated to the R&D of emerging technologies in Asia New Bay Area with the aim of progressively building it into a smart technology hub linking Southern Taiwan through innovative technology. Meet Greater South can be said to be the most innovative exhibition in Southern Taiwan. The DoIT brought together R&D institutes such as the ITRI and spin-off startups to share the application outcomes of startup teams, using innovative technology to drive the take-off of the industries in Southern Taiwan.

The TREE Program took 15 startups across emerging key industries such as biotechnology and medicine, green energy and sustainability, IoT, semiconductors, fashion and life, smart marine navigation, and metaverse to travel south for the exhibition. Through this exhibition, the TREE startups presented Taiwan’s strong points in biotechnology and medicine, green energy, digital transformation, and smart applications to the world, making all domestic and foreign teams interacting with the TREE startups deeply aware of the solid industrial and user-centered capabilities of Taiwan’s technology.
