About clarify

FREE Bionics Taiwan, a leading exoskeleton company, provides data-driven exoskeleton systems to increase the rehabilitation capacity.

By supporting or enhancing human strength on medical and industrial fields, we provide various exoskeleton products and solutions to make people’s life easier and better.

Technology experiment

FREE Bionics provides the world’s first data-driven exoskeleton system that combines accurate data analysis, providing a comprehensive rehabilitation program for patients with nerve injuries and skeletal muscle diseases.

The system is mainly composed of the joint activity training robot “NimBO” and the lower limb exoskeleton robot “FREE Walk.
The data-driven exoskeleton system provides a systematic and comprehensive rehabilitation program for all patients, which has a significant effect on improving mobility for patients in both acute and chronic phases.

  • NimBO-NimBO is the world’s first exoskeleton system that integrates precise data analysis for therapeutic purposes. It is specifically designed for patients with degenerative arthritis, orthopedic surgeries on the upper and lower limbs, and neurological injuries. NimBO measures the angles of six major joints in the upper and lower limbs, as well as muscle strength, to analyze the patient’s movement limitations. It then guides patients through the correct exercises to improve their mobility.
  • FREE Walk-FREE Walk is designed for patients with spinal injuries, nerve damage and limb weakness to stand and walk, improving the activity of lower limbs. FREE Walk can be used to learn their correct walking habits and improve the quality of movement through different parameter settings. Training status and records can be uploaded, which enabled medical personnel to provide customized training programs for patients.
