Saviah Technologies, Inc. was founded by Professor Jyh-Cheng Chen of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). He, along with his team, developed free5GC—the world’s first open-source 5G core (5GC) network that complies with the 3GPP R15 standards. The professional team at Saviah has commercialized this technology and improved the functionality, launching a product called Saviah 5GC network software. It fills the gap in the development of Taiwan’s 5G mobile network industry. Saviah 5GC has been widely adopted by multiple partners to develop their private 5G network solutions, jointly enhancing the commercial value for the global market.
